Rick Dorman
Lead Pastor
Rick and Carol Dorman have been married since 1975, and most of that time has been spent serving the Lord in leading churches to understand what it really means to accept the unconditional love of God and receive His grace and forgiveness. Church planting and rebuilding has been their life. They returned to their home church of Royal Haven, where they grew up as children and accepted the wonderful gift of salvation.
They pastor together leading five generational age groups with a diverse background of ethnicity, sponsoring congregations of Kenyan, Korean, and Hispanic heritage to worship and serve the Lord as “one church”.
Missions is their heartbeat. Connecting people in The River Ministry of Del Rio Texas, Acuña Mexico, and Kenya Africa, as well as serving the local needs of thousands of Farmers Branch Texas residents in providing food, clothing, housing assistance, and spiritual guidance.
Gene McBride
Associate Pastor
Gene was ordained to the Gospel Ministry in 1965 and has pastored churches in Missouri, Ohio and Texas. He loves to serve others, encourage them with God’s love and let them know he really cares. He and Belinda are excited about doing Kingdom work through Royal Haven. They have been married 43 years, have four daughters, three granddaughters and eleven grandsons.
John Yarbrough
Executive Pastor
Dr. John W. Yarbrough and his wife Becky are former Home Missionaries and John has been serving as a pastor, church planting, and ministry development for over 35 years in the Dallas area. John completed his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Forth and his Doctor of Ministry from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in San Francisco, Calif. John and his wife Becky will celebrate 57 years of marriage this year and have three children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
John is currently serving as our Executive and Discipleship Pastor at Royal Haven.
Javier Rios
Associate Pastor
Javier has served as Church Leaders for over 25 years. Javier leads our Spanish language ministry called Oikos Fellowship.
Gabriel Johnson

Co-Children’s Director
Gabriel Johnson has been a member at Royal Haven for four years. At a young age he was called to the ministry and answered that call years later. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Gabriel attended W.T. White High School, and has resided in Carrollton-Farmers Branch for twenty years. A father of three, Gabriel works for the railroad as a locomotive engineer in the Dallas area. He is an avid model railroader, who enjoys baseball, as well as watching the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to being involved in the Children’s Ministry, he is also a Deacon, serves on the Pastor’s Advisory Team, and is a volunteer at the Royal Haven i58 Food Ministry, which is held the first Saturday of every month. Gabriel’s desire to serve is fueled by his heart and love for GOD.
