D/Now stands for Disciple Now. It is a weekend for Middle and High School students to disconnect from the routine and connect with each other, but best of all it is an opportunity to connect with Jesus.
D/Now begins at 6:00pm on Friday March 17th and goes straight through to Sunday at noon. The weekend will be filled with powerful Worship by the Nick Gainey Band, and the insightful teaching of Rusty Mott. We will wrap it up Sunday morning with a message by Marty Earls.
The emphasis of this D/Now weekend will be on
  • What it means to follow Christ.
  • God’s call to hold nothing back.
  • What it looks like to live a missional life.
The weekend also includes a time to put love into action by serving others. Mix all that with fun games, crazy friends, great food, and strong faith, and you have a weekend that is sure to positively influence your desire to love God and love others.
This D/Now is sponsored by Royal Haven and Freeman Heights Baptist Churches. We are seeking the involvement from the student ministries of other area churches. Please contact Marty Earls for more information as to how your church or ministry can be involved. Marty can be reached by phone or text at 214-883-7157 or email him at marty@royalhaven.net

The Nick Gainey Band
The Nick Gainey Band has been leading worship together for over 9 years. Their desire is that the church would see worship as more than just songs, but a lifestyle of responding to God’s undeserving grace shown at the cross.
Nick’s heart is first for the local church as worship pastor at Connection Community Church in Rowlett, TX. Outside of that the band loves leading and equipping the global church through events on the road.
“We’re really simple guys. We love the Gospel, and we love to sing about it.”
Nick, his wife Jami Lee, and the rest of the band all live in DFW.
