For Such a Time as This

I hear so much complaining.

  • Complaining about the condition of our nation.
  • Complaining about one political party or another.
  • Complaining about the candidates.
Sometimes when I get into this kind of “spiritual funk”, I step back an take a look at the situation.  Is anything really happening that’s outside of God’s control?  How many times do we read in the Bible about God using less than ordinary circumstances to bring about “extra” ordinary things?

More About The Jesus Factor

More about the Jesus Factor…

Christians, and non-Christians alike, usually can agree that Jesus is the best role model we have.  From His faith, perseverance, generosity, and even His intelligence, people see the best qualities that mankind can possess.  The Bible teaches to be more like Jesus each and every day, so it’s helpful to learn about some of the character traits He had.  We looked at love last month, here are 4 more Jesus factors…

Women’s Bible Study Starts 9/17

The Bible is testaments, with 66 books written by 40 authors, over the course of 2000 years. It is comprised of history, literature, poetry, correspondence, and narrative. Whether you have read it for years or are still getting familiar with the bible, the new women’s bible study is for you.
We will be going through “Seamless” by Angie Smith. Seamless reveals the whole bible
from Genesis, to Revelation as a seamless story that God has given to his creation.
Don’t miss this great study, and bring your friends and neighbors.
The Women’s Bible Study begins Thursday September 17 at 9:30am at RHBC in the Adult Life Center.

Go To Church Anywhere

sermonappIf you are online, you can worship at Royal Haven Baptist Church. Maybe you are on vacation, at home, or have even moved away, but as long as you can get online with a smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can join us LIVE every Sunday morning at 10:45 CST for our morning worship service.

You can also watch past sermons in our ever growing library of video recorded services.

All you need to do is go to the appropriate app store for your device and download the app called Sunday Streams. Once you have it installed on your device type in the code RHBC and expect to be blessed.

The app also has a feature that allows you to open up an online bible while you watch. So if you happen to be stuck in an airport like Pastor Rick recently was, you can still join us in worship and God’s word. You should soon be able to send in prayer requests live and have that request passed on to the Pastor in real time, so that He can pray for you.

Make sure that you are on a wifi connection if possible because streaming video uses more data than normal use and your data plan will be used according to your specific provider’s plan.

Keep On Keepin’ On
