Jesus, Show Us Your Glory

What If the Whole Church United in Praying One Simple Prayer Above All Prayers?

Recall that the day of Pentecost flowed out of a ten-day prayer meeting during which all the Christians in the world at that moment (about 120) lifted up prayers for the ascended Savior to fulfill his plan to show the nations the fullness of his power and glory. And look how the Father answered (see Acts 2)! I recommend we follow the pattern for prayer in Acts—not one day a year but as a way of life, day by day, as we lift with one voiceone heart, one purpose: “Jesus, show us your glory.”
