Day 45: Why do Christians still do bad things?

As it is written: “He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever.” Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness ~ 2 Corinthians 9:9-10
No one is able to live up to God’s standard of holy living perfectly. We grow in holiness, empowered by the fact that our sins are forgiven.

Jesus was certainly a wise man and a great moral teacher, but he was more: the only human who perfectly showed God’s love for the world.

Satan is the enemy of God and man; he is silver-tongued and skilled at deception. We must rely on strength above our own to resist him.
